Sustainability

We believe the future of hospitality lies in thoughtful material choices, circular systems, and local impact. Sustainability is not a box to tick — it’s our commitment, our culture, and our craft.

Our approach to sustainability

As the La Bottega Collective family grows, so does our commitment to ESG. We are implementing a group-wide strategy designed to bring all our companies under one unified framework, guided by shared ESG objectives. While we celebrate the important milestones already achieved by our subsidiaries (see highlights below), our vision is full alignment at the group level. Here, we share a preview of our collective goals on this journey.

Our sustainability strategy is built on a data-driven foundation, beginning with a thorough mapping of ESG impacts, risks, and opportunities across our entire value chain.
To formalize this commitment, we are establishing dedicated ESG governance through a Sustainability Committee and the creation of a comprehensive ESG Strategic Plan for 2025–2030.
Our ESG strategy is built around three key pillars, each of which is supported by its respective commitments:

Environmental Stewardship

addressing climate change and advancing circular economy solutions.

Shared Wellbeing

promoting employee wellbeing, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting local communities.

Ethical Management

upholding responsible governance, fostering transparency and communication, and managing a sustainable supply chain.
By translating these principles into measurable actions, we are committed to generate positive impacts and mitigate negative ones.
We believe that luxury and design can coexist with environmental commitment. Environmental Stewardship for us means taking responsibility for our environmental impact through two specific commitments.

Addressing climate change

Our decarbonization journey is guided by a clear, data-driven strategy. After completing our first Carbon Footprint in 2024, we are now advancing to the next phase: measuring our 2025 Carbon Footprint with an activity-based approach and extending the analysis across the entire Group. These insights will inform a robust decarbonization plan aligned with global climate goals. To reinforce our long-term commitment, we are beginning our journey with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), ensuring our emissions reduction targets are scientifically validated and benchmarked to international standards.

Advancing circular economy

At the single entity level, we have already achieved significant milestones. These include, sustainable sourcing through the use of FSC-certified raw materials Vanity Group Holding and Palatino and redesigning our packaging with larger and refillable formats La Bottega. Building on these company-level initiatives, we are committed to addressing the requirements of the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) to ensure compliance across the Group.

We believe that true business success is measured not only by financial performance, but by the positive impact we create for the people. Shared Wellbeing is our commitment to ensuring that the value we generate is experienced by everyone connected to our ecosystem: our employees, clients, partners, and the local communities in which we operate.

. Our aim is to elevate at the Group-wide level these initiatives currently driven by individual companies. For example, we are working on establishing Group Social Policies for Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Safety, and Human Rights to formalize our existing commitments and extend them to all our entities.

Clients satisfaction

At La Bottega Collective, our clients’ trust rests on the quality, safety, and innovation of everything we create. We work hand in hand with our licensed brands and hospitality partners to anticipate needs and shape memorable guest experiences. Many of our companies have already achieved important milestones—such as compliance with ISO 22716 for Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices La Cosmetica, Vanity Group Holding and cruelty free certifications (Vegan and LAV) La Cosmetica, Vanity Group Holding. Our next step is to bring this commitment to the group level, implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System across La Bottega Collective.

Support to local communities

We believe in giving back to the places where we live and work. For us, supporting communities is an ongoing commitment to shared growth and positive impact. At the single entity level, we have active community programs and partnerships with non-profits La Bottega S.p.A., Vanity Group Holding . These efforts, driven by individual companies, will be expanded with the implementation of a socio-economic group development program to elevate our community engagement to a group-wide scale.

At La Bottega Collective, we believe lasting success is built on integrity, accountability, and transparency. Ethical Management is our commitment to conducting business responsibly, ensuring that every decision, partnership, and process reflects our values and respects all stakeholders. It is the standard we hold ourselves to, so that our growth remains responsible, our relationships respectful, and our impact positive.

Responsible Governance

We ensure that every strategy, decision, and action reflects integrity, accountability, and a long-term vision. It is about building a governance structure that places ESG principles at the heart of our operations. Across our companies, we have already introduced key internal frameworks such as Codes of Ethics La Bottega S.p.A., La Cosmetica, Beltrami Linen, Palatino, Amega LAB , Codes of Conduct Beltrami Linen, Palatino, Amega LAB , and ESG Policies. At the group level, we have mapped ESG impacts, risks, and opportunities along our entire value chain and are finalizing our 2025–2030 ESG Strategic Plan. To reinforce this commitment, we are also formalizing a Sustainability Committee to ensure a consistent, group-wide approach to ESG.

Transparent communication

At La Bottega Collective, transparent communication is a cornerstone of our ESG strategy. Through our dedicated ESG Work-Stream, we actively engage internal and external stakeholders at the group level, providing clear and consistent updates on our sustainability progress. As part of this commitment, we will soon publish our first Group Sustainability Report (2024).

Sustainable Supply Chain Management

At La Bottega Collective, we recognize that our responsibility extends beyond our own operations and into our supply chain. Sustainable supply chain management means partnering with those who share our commitment to ethical, social, and environmental standards, ensuring every product reflects our values from start to finish. We are now working to elevate the best practices already adopted by some of our companies such as Suppliers’ Code of Conduct Vanity Group Holding , Beltrami Linen, Palatino, Amega LAB and RSPO membership Vanity Group Holding, into a group-wide framework, with the goal of creating a comprehensive supply chain management system fully integrating ESG criteria
